Calf Pens

BSM´s calf pen system is composed of plastic side panels plus front and/or back spindle gates.  You can create the housing system to meet your needs with these fully customizable components.

We have different models of our calf pens available in addition to the most popular one shown below and are always improving upon our leading edge calf pen system.

• Keep your pens clean and dry.  The panels are effortlessly removed so you can quickly and easily clean the pens.
• You can also increase labour efficiency for your operation with our easy to wash plastic side panels.
• Easily observe your calves with the open spindle design of our calf pens which also enables better air movement.

• Your calf housing is also designed with snap lock plastic planking to isolate each calf and reduce the risk of disease transmission.  But if you wish to increase the social interaction between your calves as they get older you can remove the panels to make a group pen.
• You can attach the feed pails to the outside of your pen, maximizing the movement space of your calves and make feeding your livestock easier.
• The unique self-catching latch system of the new BSM Comfy Calf Suites allows for easy opening and closing of your pens without lifting the pen front.

Options

• In addition to the most popular model of our calf housing system (shown above) we have other great designs available to fit your barn's special requirements.
• Our standard model is available in 36", 42" and 48" wide sections to suit your needs.  As with all BSM products we can specially design special models to fit into your barn.
