5-Bar Livestock Gates

The uses for BSM heavy-duty livestock gates are endless.  You can:

• Set up swing gates.
• Divide your pens.
• Direct cow traffic.
• Keep your special needs cow separate from the herd.

When you buy from B.S.M., you get a heavy-duty gate, made from heavier grade metal to stand up to abuse, and then hot dip galvanized to ensure the longevity of your investment.

You also get a gate that will work in your barn: these gates can be adjusted to any length to fit any odd sized opening onsite thanks to our exclusive clamp on ends.

Gate End Options

You have multiple options for your gate ends:

• Standard chain latch (or spring loaded latch.) The easiest to open option.
• Stub ends for self catching latches.  If you need a gate that you can swing shut.
• Man walk through ends.  You can pass through the gate without opening it, but still keep your cows out.
• Double hinged end.  For gates you don't open often, gates hinged at both ends provide support for the gate at both ends.  This is a useful option if you're using your gates as stationary dividers.

In addition to the standard 5-Bar gate, you also have the option of the lighter 2-Bar gate which leaves you with a more open environment.
