Your barn and your needs are unique. Most hog pens are sold as pre-made kits that you are somehow expected to fit into your barn. This can be particularly challenging if you are renovating an older barn.
The BSM loose housing system is completely customizable and we can custom design your hog pens to fit in your barn.

Two Basic Types of Penning Available
When you are choosing a type of partition for your hog facility, you'll appreciate the easy configuration and customization of BSM Agri's loose housing system. You can choose each part of your penning system from either entirely plastic hog panels, entirely metal spindle panels or a mixture of each type.
Plastic Hog Panels
Your plastic planking can be cut to whatever length you require to accomodate your barn layout. This makes plastic panels ideal for barn renovations when you have limited existing space for your penning.

Plastic plank can be easily cleaned with a pressure washer as you clean the rest of your barn.
If you decide to change the size of your pens between groups of pigs, you can easily remove certain panels to make your pens larger or add in newer panels to make your pens smaller. This feature makes your penning system much more flexible and able to handle changes and growth in the future.
The plastic plank isolates pigs in one pen from other pens. This reduces the risk of disease in your facility. If pigs in one pen contract a disease, the pigs from nearby pens are much less likely to be affected. The plastic panels also work well in conjunction with our metal spindle panels.
Galvanized Spindle Panels
To match the types of equipment already in your barn you can get the metal spindle panels with either vertical or horizontal spindle. You can choose panels between 42" and 120" long as standard sizes or we will custom make any size to fit into your barn.
Like most BSM metal products, our spindle panels are hot dipped galvanized for long life in the harsh climate of your hog barn.
The spindle design helps to increase the visibility of your animals, while promoting good air movement through your pens. Combined, these features ultimately promote good health for your pigs.
