Are Your Pumps Wearing Out More Quickly Than They Should?

People, such as farmers, who use their pressure washers heavily often complain, "My pumps wear out too quickly!"  Perhaps you've had to repair or replace pressure washer pumps that didn't last as long as you would have liked.  More often than not, the cause for ruined pumps is that the pump was run longer than it truly needed to be.

It is easy to leave the pump running while you complete another task that only takes a few minutes.  Unfortunately, a few minutes a day cuts hours off the life of your pump.  Plus, there can be days when the pump is accidentally left on overnight.

All the extra time adds up, and wears your pump out more quickly.  Fortunately, there is a simple solution that automatically shuts your pump off when it is not in use, saving you expensive repairs and replacements.

How The Auto Stop System Saves Your Pump

Auto-Stop Computer Board

Once you release the pressure washer's trigger, the BSM auto stop system starts counting down from thirty seconds.  If you trigger the wand within that time, the pump will keep running as usual.  However, after thirty seconds pass without use, the control will shut of the pump motor.

Then, if you start washing within twenty minutes, the motor will start up again, and you can use your pressure washer as you normally would.

To provide you with extra protection, once twenty minutes have passed without the spraying, the system engages the safety lock.  To run the pressure washer at this point, you have to power down the unit and restart it.

These features work together to ensure your pressure washer won't run when it shouldn't.  By decreasing the operating time of the pump you will increase the life of your pressure washer.

All the electronics for the system are stored with the rest of the electronic and mechanical components of the pressure washer in a sealed housing.  You don't have to worry about water getting in and damaging the auto stop system.
